"Hard times are often blessing in disguise. Let go, and let life strengthen you. No matter how much it hurts, hold your head up and keep going. This is an important lesson to remember when you are having a rough day, a bad month, or a crappy year. Truth be told, sometimes the hardest lessons to learn are the ones that your spirit needs the most. Your past was never a mistake if you learned from it. So take all the crazy experiences and lessons you learned and place them in a box labeled 'thank you'. - Manisha Shrestha Bundela
I have been doing clinical counseling for over 10 years, and specialize in Rogerian Client-centered therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Parent-Child Interaction. I can help you improve your relationship with your child/children, work through communication challenges with your partner, or help you plan a personalized recovery strategy if you suffer from an addiction.
I am able to help people of faith better integrate their personal beliefs with their daily life and have done volunteer work with the local homeless population. Also, I am here to help clients to identify and process deep-seated, repressed emotions. This can help them gain insight and improve their relationships with others.
I enjoy gardening in my garden in my free time, as well as cooking; especially Italian food. I also enjoy spending time with my family and I have two cats.

"In all cultures, the family imprints its members with selfhood. Human experience of identity has two elements; a sense of belonging and a sense of being separate. The laboratory in which these ingredients are mixed and dispensed is the family, the matrix of identity.” – Salvador Minuchin
l have earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy through Capella University. Through the utilization of this knowledge, I focus on the family system when working with clients. I have experience in divorce and couple’s issues, parenting concerns, and matters regarding self-esteem. I have developed a very special interest in the use of Solution Focused Therapy and Structural Family Therapy with couples and families.
As a therapist, I cannot fix things for you or give you advice, nor do I have all the answers. I will however, help you to recognize that you are the expert of your own life, and assist you in recognizing your own wisdom.
My most enjoyable moments are spent with my husband, our two sons, and our dog and cat, Scarlett and Cleo. I am a Cub Scout den leader and I also appreciate reading, writing, and crafting in my free time.
